Broward has been making large, powerful yachts since the 50's. Acquired initially by Frank Denison, Broward had already begun to provide vessels over 140 feet and 170 feet for the Dutch and US Navy's. Over the decades the market changed to custom leisure yachts and went from wood to aluminum with ever-increasing requests for beautiful, luxurious motor yachts. In the 80's Denison's sons came onboard and helped in the successful delivery of over 300 fine yachts. Their flybridge, pilothouse and tri-deck models range from 60 feet to 165 feet in length. In 2009 the company incorporated as Broward Shipyard, Inc. at its original location.
